Development Studio is a full-service business development agency, providing creative solutions for businesses and entrepreneurs of any kind, anywhere. We have brought together a team of professionals with complementary skills, education, and experience in order to offer a broad range of services to our clients. Some of these services include; policy creation and application, site location, identification of new markets, start-up branding and market positioning, and organizational strategic planning.

Development Studio is a Studio because we have a base in the arts, music, and design, and we bring this base to every project and every undertaking. We are artists at our core; and believe that thinking creatively allows us to visit every problem with a full view of the solutions, from every angle.

A little about our Directors

Douglas Barill brings his knowledge, skills, and experience in economic development and business development both from his Master’s degree in Business from TRU, and from his years of experience in international development, entrepreneurship and economic development in several communities across Canada and around the world.

Christina Stewart brings years of experience in web design, brand management, and marketing communications strategies. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Thompson Rivers University and has been a curator for art galleries both publicly and privately funded, and has mentored young artists wherever she has worked throughout Canada.
